             abstract = "The Santo Ant{\^o}nio Stream covered several neighborhoods in the 
                         Aparecida de Goi{\^a}nia City and suffers from various 
                         anthropogenic uses existing in their surroundings, such as leisure 
                         activities, paving, irregular housing among others. The growing 
                         urban settlement inadequate and disordered is causing serious 
                         problems for the city, not only in relation to socio-economic 
                         issue but also with regard to the environment. Another factor that 
                         accelerated the urban expansion was the establishment of 
                         industrial estates in the region, causing environmental impacts 
                         due to removal of vegetation, siltation, erosion and pollution of 
                         Santo Ant{\^o}nio Stream. This study presents an analysis and 
                         multitemporal approach along the Santo Ant{\^o}nio Stream, making 
                         the use of the Google Earth software and proposing to discuss 
                         about the uncontrolled urban expansion in the city along its path. 
                         Through this research we can say that the losses occurred over the 
                         years from 2002 to 2009 are associated with the flawed process of 
                         human disturbance. Through the cutouts made in the Google Earth 
                         images were used to analyze and detect noncompliance in land use. 
                         The results showed efficient use of geo-technology which 
                         facilitated the whole process of visual interpretation of the 
                         study area.",
